Keller Nears Relegation

Kasey Keller’s Borussia Mönchengladbach fell deeper into the relegation zone with a loss yesterday to fellow Bundesliga strugglers Hamburg SV. If Keller’s team fails to avoid the drop it will be interesting to see if Major League Soccer will make a serious attempt to bring the near legendary American keeper home to finish his career. In the past MLS has been less than straight in negotiations with Keller who has played in Europe since 1992. Keller noted in a recent interview that he had felt MLS had dealt with him three years ago when he left Spurs after being beat out by Paul Robinson for first team duty in a less than honest manner.
