I love the double header action this Thursday. I signed up for the Match Day Live service which now seems to have the problems worked out and is a must in my opinion for any MLS fan.

One thing I really like about MLS fans is that we all want the other teams in the league to prosper while we support our own club.

    • Robert says:

      It’s not a club, it’s a franchise!

      • Charles says:

        Lighten up.

I am not for non-American talk either, but you don’t know EPLNFL could have lived 78 years in London before moving to Iowa 3 months ago.

Plus it is a free country
and, much to my dismay, my own Sounders added FC ( as in Football CLUB ) to the end of the name….by fan vote.

        • Robert says:

So you own the Sounders? By putting an FC at the end of the name is so pretentious. Did you guys vote for that fake grass and playing in a football stadium as well?

        • epl says:

Not as young as I used to be but 78? I do not sound that bad.

      • CTBlues says:

It’s called a team or a club. You don’t say my favorite franchise is (insert name) you say my favorite team or club is (insert name). Your just being a close minded person that thinks nothing exists past the borders of the US.

      • eplnfl says:

Well it’s actually Chicago all my years. The Chicago Cubs btw are properly called the Chicago National League Baseball Club. So club works on this side of the ocean as well.

    • Charles says:

That is a great double header huh ?

The great thing about the ESPN games too, is that they are on ESPN360. So even if you can’t watch it live, you can watch the replay on ESPN360 anytime you want.

The replay for Philly-Seattle/Chi-NY are still up there…..and I am bored at work…..hmmmm.

    • Logan says:

You might already know this, but the doubleheader on Thursday won’t be aired thru Match Day Live. You’ll need to watch it either on, or on ESPN, the cable variety.

  2. CTBlues says:

For anybody that lives in the northeast and has MSG all Red Bulls matches are aired in English on MSG or MSG+ in HD unless the match is on FSC or ESPN.

  3. Rex says:

Houston at Seattle should have been on ESPN. Probably the most anticipated game other than the stadium openings.

  4. cacun says:

So, this is where I have to come to find this. The mls site is horrible.

    • Flex Buffchest says:

It’s a brand new site. They’re still working out some bugs. If the site is still like this in the next couple of months, then I would start complaining.

  5. Jammer says:

Kansas City and New England find themselves the unwanted children with only three appearances. Columbus’ six seems low for the regular season champs. Philly will suffer its growing pains in front of a national audience for sixteen games.

    Kansas City 3
    New England 3
    San Jose 5
    Toronto 5
    Columbus 6
    Salt Lake 7
    Colorado 7
    Dallas 8
    Seattle 10
    Houston 11
    DC 11
    New York 13
    Chivas 14
    Chicago 14
    LA 15
    Philadelphia 16

    • Lars says:

You’ll note that TFC also has an artificially low number of televised games…the CBC and Sportsnet numbers were not included…at least 15 TFC games are televised this year, if not more.

  6. Flex Buffchest says:

I’m just glad more and more MLS games seem to be televised. I can always find a game on either ESPN, ESPN2, or FSC. This is great. Hopefully in the future, most of the games will be televised on major netowrks.

  7. bookmakers says:

I am going for Chicago and New York on a double ticket on the third…

  8. Lebronfeldt says:

I see Max Bretos made his way to the ESPN studios for the MLS game of the week. I thought he was just ESPNS news.
