MLS Weekend Preview – April 22-25

Del Piero rejects MLS rumors

Alessandro Del Piero squashed rumors of his leaving Serie A giants Juventus to join the Red Bulls this summer, telling his official Web site, “dear friends, with regards to the question that many of you have asked me in recent days, yes, it’s true that this summer I will go to America but only on holiday,” he said. “Then I will return, that is certain.”

High-profile friendlies

The Chicago Fire will host AC Milan on May 30 at Toyota Park while Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Sporting Lisbon will join the Red Bulls in New York for the New York Football Challenge on July 22-25.
